- Medical Supplies - Potential Sources Sought Military Hospitals - (Army, Navy, Air Force) TRICARE Regions 9 and 10 Wound Care (Basic) Supplies - Standardization _____________________________________________________________________________ Point of Contact: Cindy Ingrao, Clinical Consultant, Tri-Service Regional Business Office, TRICARE Regions 9 & 10, San Diego, CA. Telephone: (619) 532-8517. Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Wound Care (Basic) Supplies. This product group consists of cotton & rayon balls, bandage adhesive strips, elastic bandages, tubular dressing retainers, eye pads and shields, wraps & rolls/conforming. TRICARE Regions 9 and 10, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment centers in California are in the process of standardizing Wound Care (Basic) Supplies. Other TRICARE Regions may decide to work with Regions 9 and 10 as we go though the process. If your company currently holds or in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) for Wound Care (Basic) Supplies, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: cingrao@reg9.med.navy.mil and provide your (a) company name, (b) address, (c) point of contact, (d) telephone, (e) fax number, (f) E-mail address, and (e) answers to the below listed questions no later than December 1, 2003. Does your company manufacture basic wound care supplies (cotton & rayon balls, bandage adhesive strips, elastic bandages, tubular dressing retainers, eye pads and shields, wraps & rolls/conforming)? 2. Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Owens & Minor? 3. What is your DAPA Number? 4. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture or distribute your products? 5. Under what standards are your products manufactured? 6. Are your products latex free? 7. Are your products lint free? 8. Are your products made from hypoallergenic materials? 9. Do your products come with hypoallergenic adhesives? 10. Are your products available in a large variety of styles? 11. Are your products available in a large variety of sizes? 12. Which of the above supplies come as a sterile product? 13. Does your company offer a Basic Wound Care kit that can be used for outpatient/home health care use? 14. What types of educational tools or materials do you have for this product line? 15. Does your company recommend staff training for your products? If so, what kind of staff training does your company provide? 16. Does your company provide customer service 24/7? 17. Is there any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group?
