- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to issue task order under a Basic Ordering Agreement for engineering and technical support to Bell-Boeing for management of the V-22 avionics and flight controls system and maintenance of on-aircraft software after completion of the V-22 EMD phase. Such support consists of administrative, financial, and technical data reporting, program management, configuration management, sustaining engineering and software support. The Bell-Boeing Team is the designer, developer, and sole producer of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source that possesses the engineering data, technical skills and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, operation, maintenance and support characteristics of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft.
