Description

The Department of State intends to enter into negotiations utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, with Southern LINC, 1100 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31406 for the purchase of a minimum of 40 radio/cellular/paging handsets and monthly service plan for the period of November 24, 2003 through June 30, 2003. The Department requires immediate cellular and radio coverage in the following locations in Georgia: Sea Island, St Simons Island, Brunswick, complete I-95 corridor between Sea Island and Savannah, Greater Savannah Metropolitan Area, Henderson Island, Hunter Army Airfield and vicinity. The resultant purchase order is anticipated to fall within the simplified acquisition threshold. All interested and responsible sources shall respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information and other technical information literature demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements. Price data, including GSA Schedule if applicable, should be included. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement. No telephone requests will be honored. Failure to submit documentation will result in the Government proceeding with negotiations. Responses must be received by 12:00 p.m. EST, November 21, 2003. This announcement is valid for the period November 24, 2003 through June 30, 2003 only.
