Description

The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Everest VIT, 199 Highway 206, Flanders, N.J. 07836-4500 for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, services, transportation and incidentals necessary to repair/exchange Everest Borescope equipment for the OC-ALC/MAE Division at Tinker AFB, OK. It is anticipated that the period of performance will commence on 8 DEC 03 and complete on 7 DEC 04. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 8 DEC 03. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
