Description

NA Furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules, and drawings forming parts thereof for Railroad Repair at the Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama. The work to be d one consist of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and a portable cellular telephone for the Site Superintendent, except those designated as Government furnished materials. Contractor shall perform all work in stict accordance with the spec ifications, schedules, and drawing to be provided. Approximately 30 percent of the work shall be performed in the Ammunition Limited Area which will require special provisions to be included in the solicitation. Magnitude of this project is between $250 ,000.00 and $500,00.00. Performance period is 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. North American Industry Classification System Code is 234990. This solicitation will be issued electronically in ac cordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a)(7) and 14.205-1 (c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Bids submitted must be in electronic format as stated in solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by acc essing the following address via the internet:http://www.anadprocnet.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issue date is 4 Dec 03. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Gove rnment is under no obligation and is in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Fail ure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of bids may render your bid non-responsive and result in the rejection of your bid.
