Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1) Polarization Rotator ARP-90, Model number: ARP-90, 6 each. 2) Single Rack Unit Digital Controller, Model number: ACU-31/AV, Quantity 6 each. 3) NRE to design single rack controller-31/AV (size 17 x 1.72 x 12 in.), Quantity 1 each. 4) Quantity 1 each as follows: Controller Random Vibration: Description: MIL-STD-810E, Procedure I(Category 4 Equipment) with specific spectrum and level requirements of Table 3.2.1.7 of Doc. No. SM0020011, dated 06 June 2001 Quantity: One run; Positioner Random Vibration: Description: MIL-STD-810E, Paragraph 4.5.2 with specific spectrum and level requirements of Figure 3.2.3.7 of Doc.No. SM0020011 Quantity: One run; Positioner Temperature: Operating -54 to +55 deg. C. Survivability -62 to +85 deg. C Quantity: One run; Controller Temperature: Operating 0 to 50 deg. C. Survivability 40 to 85 deg. C Quantity: One run. This requirement is sole sourced to Antenna Research, 11317 Fredrick Ave., Beltsville, MD 20705-2088 due to unique qualifications. Any firms believing that they can provide the transmitter upgrade, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm?s ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the data without causing programmatic hardship.
