Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is for a period NTE 1 year for a minimum of 1 each and maximum of 45 each, 15-passenger vans during a given period. No special amenities required. Bids must be broken down by price per van with the presumption that all 45 vans will be needed for the first 90 days. Award is expected to be made December 5, 2003, with a delivery date to Fort Carson, Colorado on or before December 12, 2003. Vans will be for local use only. Government will be responsible for providing fuel and fo r performance of 1st echelon maintenance (i.e. tire pressure, fuel/oil/antifreeze/window wash levels). Contractor will be responsible for performing all other maintenance/repairs. Contractor must provide how, in the event of vehicle breakdown, emergency repair can be obtained. A replacement vehicle will be required and normally provided within 4 hours of notification of breakdown or required repair. Contractor will be responsible for delivery and pickup of all vehicles. The proposed contract is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. For this acquisition, the NAICS Code is 532112, the size standard for a small business under this code is equal to or less than $21.5 million annually based on the offerors average annua l receipts for the previous three fiscal years. . Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov The following provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) apply to this acquisition to include any addenda to the provision. This solicitation incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in ful l text.
