Description

NA THIS IS A COMPETITIVE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE WITHING REGION FOUR (4) FOR FACILITIES OPERATIONS, MAINTENANCE SERVICES, AND MINOR CONSTRUCTION FOR DEFENSE FINANCE ACCOUNTING SERVICE (DFAS), COLUMBUS, OH. Furnish all labor and plant to operate HVAC and other building systems, perform building systems Maintenance & Repair Services, administer the Reception Desk and Conference Center, and perform minor construction for the Defense Finance and Accounting Serv ice (DFAS) Columbus Center, located within the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) installation. The primary DFAS facility consists of an approx. 592,000 square foot building containing seven stories plus a basement and penthouse. Individual floor space varies from 66,804 to 87,825 gross square feet. In addition, a separate central plant building and various administrative, warehouse, and file storage space located elsewhere on DSCC totaling approximately 140,000 SF. Esti mated cost range is between $5M and $10M. This indefinite-quantity contract (IDIQ) will be awarded by source selection process. Other than price, the major evaluation factors will be Operational Plan, Past Experience, Automated Asset Management System, and Past Performance. The base performance period will be from approximately February 2004 thru 30 September 2004. There are four one-year Option periods; from 01 October 2004 thru 30 September 2005, from 01 October 2005 thru 30 September 2006, from 01 Octobe r 2006 thru 30 September 2007, and from 01 October 2007 thru 30 September 2008.
