Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army, Fort Carson, Colorado intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Fort Worth, TX for 76 each OH-58 Main Rotor Head Hub Bolts, PN 206-010-169, NSN 5306-00-130-7958. This is sole source procurement und er the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.320-1). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contra cting Officer within three days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated, h owever, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negoti ation. Responses are due NLT 1 December 2003, 12:00 Noon. (MST). Telephone requests or inqu iries will not be accepted.
