- Description
- NAVSEA, Indian Head has a requirement for technical, engineering, and management support services for the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV). The mission of NAVEODTECHDIV is to exploit technology and intelligence to develop, deliver, and provide life-cycle support for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) information, procedures, tools, and equipment to meet the needs of Joint Service EOD operating forces and other customers worldwide. Many of the required technical, engineering, and management skills are highly specialized and are unique to military organizations and the EOD community. A Top Secret Facility Clearance is required. This will be a single award. The procurement will be conducted as a Full and Open Competition requirement. Large businesses proposing as the prime will be required to subcontract 30% of the total proposed dollars to small businesses. A cost plus fixed fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract, with a period of performance of one year from the date of contract award and three one year options is anticipated. Task Orders will be placed on the contract to identify specific work to be performed in accordance with the requirements stated in the statement of work. Award will be based on "Best Value? considering capability factors such as Understanding of the Statement of Work Requirements, Experience and Past Performance. The small business size standard North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 541710/1000 employees. The Federal Supply Class/Service Code is AD96. Use your email read notification feature to confirm the Contract Specialist's receipt of your registration. The government is not responsible for any undelivered e-mail transmissions. It's the requestor's responsibility to periodically check the NAVSEA, Indian Head Contracts Division website for current status of solicitations and amendments. This solicitation will be available for downloading from our website beginning approximately 08 Dec 2003. Prior to this date, you will not be able to access this solicitation. Once the solicitation has been issued on the internet, the contract specialist will send an e-mail message to the registered requestors informing them that the solicitation is now available for downloading off the internet. Copies of issued solicitations can be obtained by downloadin g them from the NAVSEA, Indian Head Contracts Division website at http://www.ih.navy.mil/contracts and/or FEDBIZOPS at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
