- Description
- The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, intends to negotiate a non-competitive purchase order with Engineered Air Systems Inc. The purchase order will provide multi-purpose decontamination systems, to match existing systems already deployed and in use. The proposed contract action is for commodities for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-6, National Security, and FAR 12.102 (f)(1), as these items are to be used to facilitate defense against and recovery from terrorism through the use of nuclear, biological, chemical and radiological attack. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
