- Description
- The USDA Forest Service intends to award a Two Phase Design-Built RFP for the design and construction to replace major components of an existing HVAC System at our Hamden, CT Forestry Sciences Laboratory. Work includes the installation for a full range of equipment outlined in the Statement of Work, including but not limited to professional design services, completion of construction drawings and specs necessary to detail and direct construction, demolition, patching, and repair services necessary to achieve fully functional systems. The government is expecting a system, upon completion that will perform into the next decades with high operational efficiency, a minimum of down time, a high level of occupant comfort, and minimum maintenance and operation cost. NAICS is 235110; size standard 12 million. This project is between $250,000 - $500,000. Solicitation will be posted to this website www.eps.gov is expected to be issued o/a July 30, 2003. Those contractors NOT downloading the solicitation from the website MUST request sol in writing and fax request to 610-557-4224. Bonding will be required.
