- Description
- NOTICE OF INTENT. Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security, intends to solicit and award a sole source order to Georgian Technical University - School of Aviation, 77 Kostava Street, 380075 Tbilisi, Georgia (formerly Republic of Georgia), for training for 39 Georgian Border Guard students in various specialities in aviation. The course of instruction to reach full certification is 4.5 years in duration, broken down into annual segments. The education over the course of instruction will be equivalent to a Bachelor of Science leval university degree and provided by an instituion that is fully accredited/certified by an aviation regulatory organization such as the Commission for Air Transport Flight Standards and Certification (Moscow, Russia). The training must be provided by the Georgian Technical University because they are the only source to possess the knowledge and expertise necessary to provide the accredited/certified level of aviation training in Tbilisi, Georgia.
