- Description
- This requirement provides for the upgrade of the Meter Panel at the Lake Charles Meter Station located in Carlyss, LA. The task includes the fabrication and installation of a new enclosure including six Omni Flow computers, wiring, terminations, power and redundant computer stations with Emerson Process Management's Delta V controllers and operator interfaces as the Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The four SPR sites implement Omni Flow Control Computers and Fisher Rosemount/Emerson Process Management DCS systems as the SPR standard Processing and Control Communication system. This is an unrestricted (full and open competition) requirement. The NAICS code is 238210. The construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The SOL will be issued on or about December 23, 2003. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held at the West Hackberry site on January 6, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. All information related to this procurement will be posted through IIPS @ http://e-center.doe.gov. This website will be the sole distribution medium for the solicitation and will be used to provide acquisition information, including the solicitation, any amendments, questions and answers, and pre-bid construction minutes. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to become familiar with and frequently check this website for new information relating to the solicitation. NO PAPER COPIES OR DISK COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED BY THIS AGENCY. Documents and drawings will be in the standard SPRPMO formats that include Microsoft Word 2000 for the documents and specifications and Autocad 14, tiff and pdf drawings.
