- Description
- DESCRIPTION: Department of Veterans Affairs, Alaska Healthcare System and Regional Office, Anchorage, Alaska, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with Alaska Hospitalist Group, Anchorage Alaska, for Attending Service of veteran inpatients during their authorized inpatient stay in Anchorage, Alaska community hospitals. Physicians must be credentialed in the community hospitals. The applicable NAICS code for this solicitation is 62111 with a size standard of 8.5 Million. The intended contract will be for the period January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2004. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature and documentation, detailing their ability to perform 24 hour, seven day a week Attending Physician coverage in Anchorage Alaska, to the Contracting Officer or by fax to (907) 257-6711. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM, December 11, 2003.
