Description

THE CLASSIFICATION CODE IS CHANGED FROM "Z" TO "S" PRESOLICITATION OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION FOR GROUNDS MAINTENANCE FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT, ALTUS AFB, OK. A GROUNDS MAINTENANCE, FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THE SOLICITATION RESULTING FROM THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. The performance period will consist of one (1), twelve (12) month basic period with the government?s right to exercise four (4), twelve (12) month options, not to exceed five years and six months. The scope of work includes non-personal services to maintain all grounds on Altus AFB, industrial areas, common areas in military family housing and the drop zone, as well as other related services as required by the solicitation. FUNDS FOR THIS REQUIREMENT ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE FY 04 FINANCIAL PLAN. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561730. The solicitation will be issued as a competitive acquisition restricted to small businesses. The solicitation package will be issued in the form of a request for quote (RFQ) and will be made available for downloading via the internet electronic posting site, website address www.eps.gov on approximately 20 July 2003 with a closing date tentatively scheduled for 20 Aug 2003. All responsible sources meeting the criteria stated herein may submit a quote. The government shall consider all such proposals. Solicitation packages will only be accepted from small businesses. Prospective contractors must be registered in the department of defense (DOD) central contractor registration (CCR) database prior to award of this, or any government contract. The website for registration is located at www.eps.gov . Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a duns number. It is highly recommend that all prospective offerors register immediately to ensure eligibility for award.
