Description

This is a synopsis for commercial service. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. A written solicitation will be available on this web site on or about 2 February 2004. This procurement is restricted and set aside for 8(a) certified firms serviced by the Mississippi District Office only. The solicitation document, which will be available on this web site, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 561720 with a size standard of $14.0 million dollars. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies and vehicles necessary to perform housekeeping/custodial services at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. The anticipated period of performance is 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005 for the basic period plus four one-year options. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. Once contractors have received the full solicitation package, submit written offers to: 14 CONS/LGCA, ATTN: JOHN SCHOPPER, 555 SEVENTH STREET, SUITE 113, COLUMBUS AFB, MS 39710. The tentative due date for all quotes will be by 4:00 PM CST on 15 March 2004.
