Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is FA6648-04-Q-0002. The 482nd Contracting Flight, Homestead Air Reserve Base (HARB), Dade County, Florida requires a 20 foot by 44 foot rectangular hip shelter and pre-engineered package/blueprints. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17. This acquisition is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332311; the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3448; and the Small Business size standard is 500 employees. A Firm-Fixed-Price Contract will be awarded. DESCRIPTION: Line Item 0001 - 20 foot by 44 foot rectangular hip shelter with metal poly-rib roof, tudor brown exterior surface color, white interior roof surface, steel frame roof truss, steel columns, framework painted with red-oxide primer. Shipping to be included. Line Item 0002 ? Pre-engineered package/blueprints to be sent two (2) weeks in advance of shelter shipment. Shipping to be included.
