Description

The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center (RMAC), is currently seeking qualified sources to produce L96A1 and L97A1 anti-riot grenades for the Product Manager (PM) Obscuration. The grenade quantities will range from 3,744 to 45,487 of each grenade. Th e grenades will be purchased via an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity production contract, using a Government Furnished Technical Data Package (TDP). The contract will contain a base year and up to four option years. The L96A1 is filled with CS com pound (tear gas). The L97A1, a training version of the L96A1, uses a cinammic acid smoke fill to simulate CS. The CS must meet US Military Specification Mil-R-51029 (Riot Control Agent, CS) or United Kingdom Defence Standard Def-Stan-07-43 (Chemical Agent , CS). Qualified sources will be required to submit sufficient documentation to prove that the CS source proposed, complies with the above Military Specification or Defence Standard.
