- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Hoover Dam, Boulder City, NV, has a requirement for 15 various pipe spools fabricated for a cooling water eductor nozzle assembly. All piping is Schedule 80, sizes 8", 10", 12" and 14". The longest pipe section is approximately 15 feet. All pipe shall be delivered sand blasted and red primered. The pipe sections will be assembled on site by Hoover Dam staff. All spools must be delivered to the Hoover Dam Central Warehouse by February 2, 2004. All pipe joint welding, including welding procedures, welders' credentials, and welding operators shall conform to the applicable requirements of Section IX of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and the ASME Code (1995) for Pressure Piping B31.1 (1998). The Contractor awarded this purchase order shall perform one field visit to the Hoover Dam N-2 Eductor installation area to confirm measurements before fabrication. This procurement will be done under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The price range is from $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. It is set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 421840 and the size standard is 500 employees or less. Interested parties may fax their request for the Request for Quote (RFQ) to Leslie Leavitt at (702) 293-8050.
