Description

Furnish and deliver straight hand or "approved" machine-split Locust Rails (Robinia Pseudoacadia L.), 11 feet in length. Rails shall be 4 1/2" to 6" in diameter with 5" being the ideal diameter. Rails shall be stripped of bark. Quotes will be evaluated on the following criteria: 1) submission of approved product sample at least 3 ft. in length; 2) ability to provide quanity (approximately 8600 rails); 3) price. Due to the nature of the product, the contract will allow for an extended delivery schedule to be stated in the Soliciatation. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct businss with DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 2001-16 requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to any award. http://www.ccr.gov/
