- This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to solicit brand-name specific proposals and award the below describes 16 line items with one company. Market research to date has yielded one company that can comply, Washington Professional Systems, 11242 Grandview Avenue, Wheaton, MD, 20902-4632. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 13.5. The items are commercial. This requirement will support the Flyaway Broadcast System (FABS). Until system redesign occurs, the equipment storage for FABS must meet form, fit, function, and interface in order to assure interoperability, interchangeability, and provide for communication standardization with the Special Operations Media System B and Theater Media Production Center programs. Award is expected to be 02 Dec 2003. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 01 Dec 2003, 1400 EST. A determination by the Government to award this procurement is based upon responses to this notice and market research, and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
