Description
The United States Marine Corps has a requirement for procurement and delivery of Environmental Control Units (ECUs) as follows: 1.5 ton (maximum quantity of 542); 3 ton (maximum quantity of 2455); and 5 ton (maximum quantity of 380); 8 ton (maximum quantity of 355); to include contractor logistics support (CLS), technical manuals, warranty, and operator/maintainer training. This effort will be 100% Set Aside for Small Business and pursued as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract in accordance with FAR Part 12. The contractor shall provide the requisite program management and logistics support to ensure that delivery schedules, performance requirements and worldwide supportability of the ECU is accomplished as set forth in the contract. The 1.5 ton, 3 ton, 5 ton, and 8 ton ECUs shall be capable of operating on 208 Volts, 3 phase, 50/60 Hz input power. The ECU program has been initiated to produce and deploy a commercial ECU that will fulfill the performance objectives set forth in the specification. The ECU is a replacement for the existing Mil-Standard ECU, which has reached the end of it economical service life.
