- This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Solicitation Number is HE1254-04-Q-0024 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This action will be processed using simplified acquisition procedures and incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2001-16. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is a federal government agency, tax exempt, an education activity and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. Quotations shall include offeror's best and final offer. FSC Code: X112, Rent-Lease Conference Space & Facilities. NAICS Code: 721110, Hotels (except casinos). Size Standard: $6M. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Education Division requires lodging, secure meeting space (doors must lock), audio visual, internet connections (hook up & access), storage space, fax & copying services, all break package, receipt of materials, and other related services for the purpose of conducting technical evaluations in the Northern Virginia Area (i.e. Arlington, Fairfax, Tysons Corner, Reston, Herndon, Dulles, Chantilly) during the period of December 30, 2003 through January 16, 2004. A loading dock is needed due to the large amount of materials being received at the facility. Materials may be delivered on pallets. No alternative proposals will be considered. (Not IAW the RFQ). THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING Quotations for this RFQ are due and must be complete, signed, dated, and due in this office at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Procurement Division, 4th Floor, Attn: Janice Brown, 4040 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia 22203-1635, no later than 2:00 p.m., EST, Wednesday, November 26, 2003. Quotations shall be marked with the HE1254-04-R-0003. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database (www.ccr2000.com) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) are mandatory. Quotations shall include CAGE code, DUNS number, Tax ID number, email address, business size (large/small), and web site address, if applicable.
