Description: This modification to the pre-solicitation notice for FA4610-04-R-0003, is to clarify the requirements for certification from the National Society of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) or The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC). A NACE or SSPC certified individual will only be required for corrosion control operations to include the Space Launch Complex facilities and structures, as well as the base's water tanks, propane tanks, and transformers. The contractor will not need to employ a full-time NACE or SSPC certified individual for routine exterior and interior painting operations.
