Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to enter into non-competitive negotiations with Executive Information Systems of Bethesda, Maryland, to purchase SAS UNIX and Windows Desktop Software Maintenance. SAS software includes: BASE/SAS, Applications Development Package, Statistical Package, SAS/OR, SASQC, SAS/ETS, SAS/IML, SAS/GIS, and SAS/LAB. SAS holds proprietary rights to the software and Executive Information Systems holds the exclusive right to maintain SAS software pursuant to their GSA schedule. A Delivery Order issued against Executive Information System's GSA schedule is anticipated with a start date of January 1, 2004 through one year with two option years. Firms who believe they can provide the above are invited to submit an affirmative response by December 1, 2003 in accordance with numbered not 22. An affirmative response shall include literature, brochures, and other such information which demonstrates the vendor's ability to provide the required software maintenance. All responses shall be considered. This notice is for informational purposes only. A Request for Quote is not available. This may represent the Government's only notice of this procurement. See note 22.
