Description

UNIBUILT design is hereby defined as having a common shaft between the motor and the pump without a mechanical coupling between them. Provided the pump is installed very close to the motor with common installation base, NIST may allow coupled shaft design. FRISTAM pump design with adjustable base is an acceptable design.*** Electroploished body is hereby defined as having a standard surface finish (32RA with EP) of all wetted surfaces of the pump. Outside casing finish may be 32RA. Standard finish is sufficient.*** Carbon steel base plate with rust proof paint is accepatble. No wheels or handle will be necessary as the pump will be installed permanently on the concrete foundation block.*** Electrical motor will be installed in damped atmosphere but will not have direct hit of water jet or spill on it.*** VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) motor shall be reliable in design and performance. Motor controls shall be installed remotely controlled.*** All other terms and conditions remain the same.
