Description

NA Retrofit and Upgrade of AN/CYZ-10. Contractor will retrofit/upgrade Data Transfer Devices (DTD) to Version 3 using the Fill version 5.50 plus RDS software and in accordance with Section II below. If a non-operational unit is found, the contractor will in form USACSLA if the unit is repairable or non repairable. USACSLA will send additional units to meet the full 1,001 upgrade number on the contract if unit is un-repairable. The contractor will use the parts from the Government provided DTD??????s to perf orm the retrofit/upgrade. If there are insufficient parts available from the Government provided DTD??????s, the contractor will supply the missing parts and the Government will be responsible for part replacement. Repair of AN/CYZ-10 Version 3 Units. Contractor will repair in accordance with the quantities specified in item 0001 Version 3 DTD units using Government provided DTD units. The contractor will use the parts from the Government provided DTD??????s to perf orm the repair. If there are insufficient parts available from the Government provided DTD??????s for the contractor to complete the repair, the contractor will supply the missing parts and the Government will be responsible for part replacement. The con tractor will maintain a list of parts it replaced and a mutually agreeable credit will be provided to the contractor. Repair time is 90 days after receipt of units. Vendor must have capability to repair (V)3s and upgrade (V)2s to (V)3s. Any response shall provide clear and convincing evidence that the offeror may be able to provide the repair/retrofit/upgrade. This is solely a sources sought announcement. The contracting officer reserves the right to design the procurement strategy based on responses rec eived. Full compliance with this announcement is encouraged. Estimated range of this procurement my be between $1,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.
