Description

NA Provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, services, and all incidental items necessary to install new suspended ceiling in gymnasium of building 166, Wheeler Army Airfield, Oahu, Hawaii. Install new suspended ceiling for gym area and adjacent storage area. Demolish existing light fixtures; install new lay in 2 X 4, 2 lamp, electronic ballast fixtures. T-bar suspension grid shall be factory painted to match ceiling tiles (white) and includes carrier channels as required for light fixtures. In stall fiberglass insulation above new ceiling, (3 inch unfaced R9). To include installing new ceiling at adjacent supply storage area, replace lighting system, install Government-furnished A/C, relocate fire sprinklers and provide sketches for all work, B ldg 166, WAAF, HI. Modified two-step process also termed C3 (customer, Contracting, and Commerce) process will be utilized as the procurement method. All interested contractors are required to attend the site visit scheduled on December 9, 2003 at 1:30 p .m. Hawaii Standard Time at Bldg 166, Wheeler Army Air Field. You are required to notify Robert Batangan no later than December 4, 2003 of your interest in attending the site visit by e-mail at Robert.Batangan@shafter.army.mil. Please indicate in your e -mail if you had attended previous industry forum briefing.
