Description

The purpose of this contract is for producing, hauling, placing and compacting base course of grid-rolled aggregate on 6.60 miles of FDR 6590. The project area is located in Southeast Alaska on Zarembo Island about 13.74 miles South of St. Johns Harbor on FDR 6590 beginning at MP 13.74 and ending at MP 22.03. The project site is accessible via the existing road system. The estimated price range for this acquisition is $250,000 - $500,000. The performance period is 365 days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about 12/15/2003 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation R10-05-04-03. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select ?Register to Receive Notification? and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select ?Register as an Interested Vendor? and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest.
