- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4620-04-Q-A005 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. NAICS Code is 333120. Small business size standard is 750 Employees. This is a small business set-aside. Unit Small Business Specialist is Ms. Marion Nelson (509) 247-4880; link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA http://sba.gov: link to unit public information: http://www.fairchild.af.mil/lgcons. Fairchild AFB has a requirement for the purchase of Cassette Brushes for Snow Removal Equipment. The length of the cassette replacement sections shall be appropriate to the model numbers listed below. Zinc coated .045mm wire approximately 11 inches in length, spacing between tufts of wire approximately 41-1/2 mm. The tufts shall be held in place by a steel rod of at least 1/8 inch in diameter and runs the full length of the section. The rod should be crimped to prevent it from working free. The sections shall be made to fit easily into tracks that measure 1 3/4 foot in width and 9/16 inches in height. The brush system shall be suitable for use in a temperature range of 60 degrees F, to -30 degrees F. 7 sets must fit a S.I.B. core 91 1/2 inches in length, two core sections for a complete broom .54 cassette sections per core 108 sections per complete set. Mfr: SIB P/N: 1646WB45MS; or equal. 6 sets must fit a S.I.B. core 107 1/2 inches in length, two core sections for a complete broom .54 cassette sections per core 108 sections per complete set.
