Description

1) Furnish, deliver and install a new 480-volt distribution system (triple-ended, station service, unit substation, including two distribution panelboards for miscellaneous loads and lighting power) in place of existing 480-volt distribution system; 2) Remove and dispose of existing 480-volt station service distribution system and all ancillary equipment, cables, and wiring as necessary to install the new 480-volt distribution system; and 3) Provide temporary service for disconnected station service loads. The work must be completed within 148 days from Receipt of Notice To Proceed. The Invitation For Bid (IFB) package will be available on or around December 31, 2003, and bids are tentatively due in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings MT 59101 on or before Close of Business (COB) January 30, 2004. There is no charge for the first copy of this solicitation, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each set. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238210. The Small Business Size Standard is $12 million. After issuance, the Solicitation (excluding Drawings) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To receive a copy of this solicitation, fax a request to the Bureau of Reclamation, Attention: Vaschelle LaForge at (406) 247-7798. The request must include the contractor's name, address, phone/fax number, federal tax identification and Dun and Bradstreet number.
