- DESCRIPTION: This solicitation is for the establishment of a Hub-Zone Set-Aside for various items that are in accordance with military specifications and/or drawings. Currently, the acquisition only encompasses NSNs managed by DSCC. All NSNs are available for download under the ?Acquisition Download? menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board (DIBBS). Access is directly available from http://dibbs.dscccols.com. FSCs to be covered under this project include 1005, 1010, 1015, 1025, 1030, 1055, 2805, 2815, 2910, 2920, 2930, 2990, 3040, 3950, 4320, 4330, 4710, 4720, 4730, and 5420. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See note(s): 1, 9, 23, 26 & 27. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS or SRweb solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall no exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class see description above. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
