Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. We anticipate award for this purchase order by December 15, 2003 for this requirement. The government plans to award a commercial item purchase order to the responsible offeror who can provide the items requested by the required delivery date of April 30, 2004 or sooner if possible. The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, requires Three (3) each RF REMOTE CONTROLLED JAMMING/DETONATION DEVICE FOR PROTECTION AGAINST RADIO CONTROLLED BOMBS. DECOTEC Model DTJ-945/DTJ-960a system or equal. Description: Jamming/Detonation Device should be wideband, sold state, portable, radio frequency jamming system that provides a reliable countermeasure to remotely detonated explovise devices of the type commonly used by terrorists by preventing detonation or by causing pre-detonation. Systems to be provided with operator training and one-year guarantee on parts and labor as required by enduser. Materials are to be quoted FOB Miami, Florida. Copy of Solicitation will be provided upon FAX or E-Mail request from Vendors Producing or Marketing this type of equipment. Offers for this device are restricted to NAFTA countries produced equipment. This contract will be issued with an option for up to Ten (10) additional units over the next 12 months. The selected contractor must comply with the commercial item terms and conditions under FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commerical Items, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5 Contract terms and Conditions - Commerical Items.
