Description

NA DESC: NSN: 2610-00-738-4278, Part Number: 8427019, The item to procure is a Tire, Pneumatic Tubeless, size is 16 x 24 x 10E, Operating Pressure is 3 to 6 PSI. Tire carcass shall consist of 2 plies of rubberized nylon cord and may be reinforced with breake r strips. First Article Test is required. Requirements are 150 each. FOB is Destination. For use on the M102 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 18 Dec 03. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore , hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be iss ued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above int ernet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option.
