Description

NA This procurement is for the solicitation of a One-Phase Firm fixed-price contract for construction of the Youth Activity Center, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. The contract will provide for the construction of a new 25,924 S.F. of building housing a var iety of spaces, such as a kitchen, classrooms, multi-purpose room and computer lab. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, construction engineering and management, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and transportation to perform al l work described in the specifications. Requirements for the technical Source Selection criteria factors are as follows: (1) Past Performance, Construction; (2) Small Business Subcontracting Effort; and (3) Price Proposals. Offerors will be evaluated on both technical proposal and price. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals prior to award; to negotiate with any or all proposers; to award the contract to other than the lowest total price; and to award to the proposer submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. PROPOSERS ARE ADVISED THAT AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED. The receipt date for proposals is January 29, 20 04. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Duration of the project is 360 calendar days. THIS IS A NON-APPROPRIATED FUNDS (NAF) PROJECT AND AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT ACTION. Plans and Specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Contractors may view and/or download this project on or after December 19, 2003 from this website: www.nao.usace.army.mil/Ebs/Asp/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com.
