Description

NA This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. Technology Applications Office intends to purchase rugged universal power supplies (UPS): Acumentrics Rugged UPS 2500 or equal. Please be advised that the UPS are to be ruggedized and designed for worldwide deployment in severe physical and electrical environments. Item 0001, ACG2500R-24-XR rugged ups 2500 with wide range AC input, XR input 115VAC output 250 watt, 24 VDC output, 10 ea. Item 0002 ACG9019 and Rugged UPS 2500 Rack Mo unt Kit, 10 ea. Submit a copy of the technical specifications of the UPS that you are quoting if different from the Acumentrics Rugged UPS. Pricing is to be FOB Destination. Please indicate delivery time on your quote. Delivery location is Fort Bragg, N C and delivery date is 30 days ARO or sooner. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, apply to this acquisition. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items wil l be required from the successful offeror. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercia l Items, apply to this acquisition. In addition, FAR clause 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332), DFARS clause 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions- Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items and DFARS Clause 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration are applicable. Full FAR/DFARS text may be obtained at website http://www.arnet.gov/far. IMPORTANT--Only offerors who are registered in the Central Contractor Database are eligible for award (reference DFARS Clause 52.204-7004 or see web site http://ccr.edi.disa.mil). Award will be made to the Offeror who provides the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Proposal will be due by Close of Business 9 Dec 2003.
