Description

NA It is the intent of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, AL 35807, to award a competitive small business set-aside Cost Plus Fixed-Fee level of effort type of contract to provide operation, maintenance, calibration, repair services, perform technical assessments in the areas of technology evaluation, data analysis, system analysis, design, fabricate and test active and passive electro-optical measurement hardware, and gather data for databases using ladars and other equipment relatin g to the operation of the Advanced Measurements Optical Range (AMOR) that is located in Building 7768 and Labs 7 & 9 of Building 7770, Redstone Arsenal, AL. This facility will be the primary location for measurement activities but measurements may be cond ucted at other geographic locations on a short-term basis as required. The contractor shall be capable of operating, maintaining and repairing all AMOR test equipment and other equipment currently at the facility or which is later provided to the AMOR. T he maintenance and repair shall cover all AMOR measurement systems and equipment, including ladar and infrared equipment at the AMOR facility or at other locations. The contractor shall design and fabricate targets as required to include the emulation of foreign threat targets using Government approved intelligence data. A current SECRET facility and storage clearance will be required for performance. This action is not open to allied participation at prime contract level. The performance schedule for t his award includes a basic effort consisting of three years (FY 04-FY 06) and an option consisting of six years (FY 04-FY 09). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541710 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employee s.
