- Description
- The U. S. Department of Commerce, Aircraft Operations Center, intends to procure services through Wulfsberg Electronics to install Wulfsberg Flexcomm II, brand name or equal, radios in three DeHavilland Twin Otter Aircraft. The agency desires to have standardized equipment and parts that are user friendly and provide safety of flight operations. Aircraft Operations Center desires these three aircraft to be configured with identical avionics and intercom functionalities. This equipment has been identified as possessing the standard radio component that is most appropriate for successfully achieving the agency's mission and goals. This radio is directly available from the manufacturer. Other companies may submit a capabilities statement within ten days of this advertisement. The work required include installing the following items: Four RT-5000 Shock Mounts; Two RT-5000 Transceiver No Guard; Two C-5000 STD Display, Blk, 1 Serial RT; Two 550 Antenna 29.7-960 MHz 9.5" Tuned; Two FC-550 Logic Converter Antenna Tuner (AT-550); RT-5000 Mounting Tray-Horizontal; Connector, RT-5000 System Interface; Two Connector C-5000 System Interface; Connector FS-550, FC-50; Connector AT-550, AT-50, AT-51; Connector, FC-550, FC-50 (J2); Connector, FC550, FC-50 (J3); Flexcomm II Installation Manual; C-5000 STD Display, Blk, 1 Serial RT. The NAICS code 336412 applies. Any company capable of providing the exact make or brand name equal of the equipment required to install these radios is encouraged to respond to this announcement within ten days after publication of this notice. Interested companies should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact for businesses or other Government agencies to which they have previously provided such work. This information shall be submitted to the address stated herein or may be sent by facsimile to (816) 426-7530, ATTN: Mamie L. Wandick. Failure to provide the required information will deem your submission non-responsive. The Government reserves the right to solicit bids based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice.
