Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Test Administrator services for the Federal Correctional Institution, located at 501 Gary Hill Road, Edgefield, SC 29824. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, requirements contract. The contractor shall be responsible for administering and scoring the following: ABLE, CASAS, practice GED, official GED, and other educational tests deemed necessary to assess academic skills of inmate students. Qualifications include, at a minimum, a Bachelor?s degree in Education from an accredited college or university and be able to demonstrate current proficiency in GED testing and administration by being certified as a Chief or Alternate Chief Examiner. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four consecutive 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option period are 832 one hour sessions per year. The contractor will be expected to perform approximately 16 hours per week, during two work days, excluding federal holidays. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 5, 2004 and will be solely distributed through this website. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain copy of the solicitation.
