Description: NA The purpose of this work is to modify six tainter gates, including cover plating of strut arms, addition of new bracing members, and replacing U-bolt cable connections with hitch block cable connections. Touch-up cleaning and painting the six tainter gates in the modified area are also included. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The magnitude of construction is $500,000 to $1,000,000. NAICS code is 237990. Solicitation issue date will be on or about January 5, 2004, and proposals will be due on or about February 5, 2004.
