Description

NA The US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District plans to hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference, or Industry Day on December 17, 2003 at 10:00 AM in the District Assembly Room (DARM) Room 152 (Center Building) of the New Orleans District Headquarters Buil ding located at 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70118. The purpose of this Industry Day will be for the government to release details and entertain questions and comments concerning an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Construction Contract. This will be a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MAT OC) with a base year and an option to extend for one additional year. Up to three contracts will be awarded from a single solicitation. Maximum dollar value of each contract shall be $1.5 million per year per contract. It is anticipated that two of the three awards will be set aside for small business concerns, one 8(a) and one HUBZone, with the third award being unrestricted. A DRAFT copy of the specifications is being provided for download and review. Please note that this is a DRAFT copy for review and discussion purposes only. The specifications will be revised and refined after the Pre-Solicitation conference into a final document for solicitation to offerors. Projects will include, but may not be limited to, embankment construction and repair, levee and berm construction and repair, grading and earthwork, storm water management, erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, excavation, traffic control, f encing, landscaping, armor stone/riprap, slope stabilization and pavement, installation of vinyl and/or steel sheet piling, minor concrete placement, minor drainage excavation, placement of geotextile and/or gabion baskets, installation of culverts, surfac ing, concrete slope pavement, fertilizing and seeding and minor construction and topographic surveying throughout the New Orleans District.
