Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about December 19, 2003. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQs) for Rehabilitation Failing Emergency Use Boat Ramp at Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, New Orleans, Louisiana to provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials and services for the replacement of the existing boat-launching ramp at Twin Canals. A damaged and unsafe straight back-in, concrete launching ramp will be replaced with a new, Pre-cast concrete ramp. Contractor shall provide all excavation, backfill, grading, and compaction, testing and incidental work required providing a complete turn-key project. The work site is located in the Barataria Preserve Unit at Twin Canals, Marrero Louisiana. This is 100% Set-aside for Small Business. Solicitation Number Q7530040002. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to finish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. The NAICS Code for this project is 235990 and small business size standard is $11.5 million. Contract duration is 90 calendar days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. At site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the location, time and date to be announced in the solicitation.
