Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the Department of Treasury, intends to issue a sole source purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Haver Analytics, 60 East 42nd Street, New York, NY 10165, for a subscription to the Haver DLX Database System. The Haver DLX system includes unlimited refresh of data updates, monthly newsletters, software updates and access to the Haver website. The system includes a one-year subscription to the following databases: USECON; CBDB, REALTOR; USINT; REGIONAL; LABORR, EMPLC, EMPLR, USPOP, PIQR, PICOUNTY; DLINQ, DLINQR, EUROPE, JAPAN, EMERGEEE, EMERGE, EMERGELA, INDUSTRY; HUD; MBDMTG; AND EXPORTS. The period of performance of this requirement is January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004. The proprietary software is designed such that the Haver DLX server transfers the data updates to a local network server. The data provided by Haver Analytics is as reported from the data source. Forecasting and econometric modeling is not a part of this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation document will not be issued. All information received within 14 days after the date of this publication with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement will be considered by the OCC. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC. Information received will be considered primarily for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
