Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for construction services at Glen Canyon Power Plant. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Part 14 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a two-step sealed bid. The principal feature of work to be performed under this solicitation is for a new fire detection and alarm system as well as rehabilitation of the existing heating, ventilating and air-condition system to the fire detection and alarm system for the power plant and support building. There will be a site tour scheduled for all interested parties (the date and time will be provided in the solicitation). The work will be performed under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 238220. The estimated price range is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Bid, performance and payment bonds will be required. The approximate date of solicitation issuance is January 12, 2004. An electronic copy of the solicitation (without drawings) will be available approximately January 12, 2004 at website: www.fedbizopps.gov.
