Description

Services non-personal: Furnish all supervision, equipment, tools, labor, materials, and parts necessary to provide services for handheld extinguishers and wheeled portable extinguishers located at Keesler Air Force Base, MS. Services are to include inspection, hydrostatic testing, 6-year maintenance, recharge, and associated repair of handheld extinguishers and wheeled portable extinguishers, refurbishment of 150 lb wheeled portable flight line extinguishers, and incidental parts, condemned extinguisher replacements, and component parts for refurbishment. Work is to be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The period of performance for this requirement is as follows: Basic Period – 01 Feb 04 through 30 Sep 04, Option 1 – 01 Oct 04 through 30 Sep 05, Option 2 – 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06, Option 3 – 01 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07, Option 4 – 01 Oct 07 through 30 Sep 08, for a total performance period of 56 months. Anticipated award date is 22 Jan 04. This action is 100% set-aside for small businesses (NAICS 811310/SIC 7699, $6Mil threshold). All responsible small business sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by this agency. However, please note that no award may be made to an offeror not registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Therefore, if your firm is considering submitting a quote for the above listed service, it is imperative that your firm become registered in the CCR. To do so, go to http://www.ccr.gov. Also, payment of services will be made via the Government Purchase Card. Therefore, offeror must be able to accept credit card payment for services. Anticipated issue date of solicitation is 11 Dec 2003. The solicitation will be electronically issued and may be accessed and downloaded at the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website @ http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors unable to access the solicitation at this address may contact the Contract Specialist or Officer for instructions. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued under Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and award will be made in the form of a firm fixed price purchase order. Faxed quotes will be accepted at 228-377-3298.
