Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format is Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The reference number is 04TC138. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 339992. The size standard is 500 employees. The contractor shall provide the following items: CLIN 0001 DEG Soprano bugle, 3 valve, all note tuning, key of G, silver, model # g353, with hard case. 10 EACH CLIN 0002 DEG Dynasty Contrabass bugle, 3 valve, 4/4 size, key of G, silver, model # G378 with hard case. 5 EACH FOB point will be Destination to be delivered to: Bldg.6420, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX, 78236. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items, is applicable to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable to this solicitation and the blanks in section (a) are completed as follows: Price considerations. Offerors shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. Far 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercials Items, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, are applicable to this acquisition. Responses to this RFQ must be received via fax or e-mail by 17 Dec 2003 at the 37th Contracting Squadron, 1655 Selfridge Ave., Lackland AFB, TX 78236-5286.
