Description

The Department of Navy intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under Solicitation N62472-03-B-6009 for a Glazing/Glass Repairs Service Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity Contract (IDIQC) at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The Contract term shall be for one year with four option years. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive and responsible bidder. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This acquisition will be 100% set aside for Small Business under NAICS Code 238150, Small business size standard is $12,000,000. Prospective bidders must register for this project on the NAVFAC Electronic Solicitation Internet web site, www.esol.navfac.navy.mil to receive notification of availability of solicitation documents. The Issue Date, Bid Opening Date, and Award date stated in this notice are approximate dates. An official Bidder's Mailing List will be maintained on-line and can be printed from the web site. The Bidder's List will not be faxed. Recording companies are also required to register. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (Amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the DOD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised, for solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, failure to register in CCR may render a bidder ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing the web site www.ccr.gov or by referring to DFAR Subpart 204-73. Offerors should submit verification of their firm's registration in the CCR Database with their proposal.
