- Description
- This is a Market Survey conducted by U.S. Department of State. It is a request for information only, and your response is not an offer. This request for information does not commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in preparation or any submission to this Market Survey. All potential offerors are requested to submit a capability statement, which reflects their manufacturing capabilities, specialized equipment, etc. The Tempested 10BaseFL(ST) to 100BaseFX(SC) Transceiver must meet the following specifications and performance criteria: Level: Level 1 Tempest; Port 1: 10BaseFL(ST) with a maximum supported segment length of 2 km; Port 2: 100BaseFX(SC) with a maximum supported segment length of 2 km; Environmental: Operating and storage temperature range: 0?C to 50?C, Humidity range: 5% to 90% non-condensing; Compliance: IEEE 802.3/IEEE 802.3U and NEBS Level 3; Safety: FCC, UL; Power: Auto-Sensing 90-250V AC 50/60Hz; Weight: Not to exceed 2 pounds; Dimensions: Not to exceed 3" X 5" X 6"; Auto-Negotiation: Must be able to auto-negotiate with Cisco Switches; Auto-Recovery: Must be able to automatically restart a fiber link after a link loss event; Link Loss: Must be able to automatically stop transmitting when link pulses are not being received; Form factor: Standalone; Certification: Must be Technical Security Standard (TSS) approved prior to procurement. The Department of State anticipates an annual requirement of 180 units per year.
