- Part : U.S. Government Procurements Subpart : Construction Classcode : Architect Engineering (A/E) Design Services OfficeAdd : Department of Veteran Affairs, Contracting Officer 90C, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), Building 41, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114-1706 Subject : Cardio Vascular A/E Services The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) intends to make modifications to it?s facility to create a Cardio Vascular surgery program. Work will involve analysis of three (3) scenarios that have been proposed by the staff, the pros and cons of each scenario along with cost estimates of each. After this analysis is completed, a presentation will be made to hospital staff and a decision will be made as to which design will be pursued. Work will then proceed through construction documents. The areas included for evaluation are: The need for additional square footage by expanding out onto a roof top. Develop 8-10 bed CVICU Recovery area Develop 6 CVICU Step-down Beds Develop 8 CVICU Telemetry Beds Enlarge O.R.9 and reactivate O.R. 10 Upgrade O.R. 3 & 4 Develop Satellite Pharmacy within OR area Provide Office spaces for CVICU Surgery staff Interested A/E firms shall submit their SF254?s and SF255?s by Close of Business (COB), December 24, 2003.
